Up to February 7 :)
So far, I am finding this narrowing down process to be very helpful. We are really sifting through everything we have with a fine tooth comb, and I think that is where we went wrong with..dare i say it.... I think that we just had way way WAY too much information on the go with that. So this time, we're just being c PIRATES autious, we really don't want to end up in the same spot as we did last time. Personally, I will be okay with whatever we do now, because what I wanted to do originally was The Falling Man, but I realize that there wasn't that much to branch off with that one. So basically i'll be happy with whatever, I liked all the remaining options equally.

Up to January 31st :)
This week, the biggest thing for me really had to be The Falling Man. It really did get me a little worked up in class, because not very many people thought it was wrong. I had a really hard time dealing with that, and i also had a rough time explaining how I felt about the matter. It made sense to me in my head, but I really had a rough time trying to get out how i felt, especially without stepping on any toes. My standpoint on the matter was that the picture wasn't necessarily WRONG, but it was wrong to be plastered in papers all over the place THE DAY AFTER. Really. Everyone else pretty much said that they should show this picture, so the world could really understand just how terribly this whole ordeal was. But people already knew that. They really didn't have to see a picture of this poor man plummeting to his death to fully grasp the concept. Especially where so many people had no idea where their loved ones were. So many people were missing, I cannot even imagine seeing this the day after and wondering if it was the person i was hoping would come home any minute. I just really didn't agree with it.

All caught up to January 24 :)
I find these things really hard to keep up with. I know that they are important, especially since there is so much that goes on, it is a manner of organization. But anyways. Here is a catch up.
So the thing that has really stood out to me most these past two weeks; the thing that I keep coming back to is the reading of the Revelations to John. It really scared me. My dearest friend Nathanael helped simmer me down a tad, and he explained it all to me in a way that made things clear in my head. None the less, I was still left feeling a little unsettled. I think that the main reason for that was my lack of understanding. Since I really do know diddaly squat about the Bible and all its components, it probably scared me more than intended, just because I don't know any of the good things that would have probably balanced the scary stuff out. I realize that, i really do, but i think that i may continue to feel like this up until i read and study the rest of it.
That was my highlight of learning for the past two weeks.
